George - Chairman

Rachael - CEO

Rachael found that having a background in Social Work has helped her to understand and view each student she has taught holistically. Knowing the pyscho-social impact of being unemployed, Rachael was able to ensure that she had a very hands on role in placing people in to the right jobs for them. Where people came to her for career advice, she was able to understand their skills and needs and ensure that people were given the right opportunities. Rachael has helped to place over 150 people in to work over the past 2 years and is very confident that Alex Elliot Consultancy will be the driving force in reducing unemployment levels, ensuring that the high quality school partnerships we have receive the very best in education professionals.

Chris - Director of Operations

Chris is the Director of Operations for Alex Elliot Consultancy. Chris has a formidable background in recruitment and consultancy, bringing innovative and exciting life to the company. Chris comes from an Education Recruitment background where he has supported schools and job seekers in Doncaster, Barnsley and The Dearne Valley. Prior to this, Chris worked in the Health and Well-being sector where he promoted healthy living in schools, care homes and residential care centres as well as emphasising the benefits of exercise in later life. It was here that Chris developed a passion for helping others, working closely not only with clients but with students on an apprenticeship basis taking their first steps into the working world.


Chris prides himself in his ability to provide impeccable customer service and will actively go out of his way to help others. This combined with his ability to create strong, long-lasting relationships has meant that Chris has been highly successful in the recruitment industry.

George started his Rail career in the early 90’s with a British Rail apprenticeship and over the last 30 years has gained extensive knowledge and expertise within in the rail industry. George says the highlight of his career was the Heathrow Terminal 5 rail link project where he was the Construction Manager for Network Rail, as well as Senior Health and Safety advisor on Great Western Electrification. After this role George decided he wanted to give back to the industry so became an assessor and started to train future generations of Railway workforce. George is a phenomenally successful trainer and assessor and has earned exceptional respect from his students. The feedback received from his classes is overwhelming as he has a no holds barred approach to passing on his vast knowledge and expertise to the next generation. His experience and knowledge are second to none; this mixed with his unique delivery style is one half of why GNR Training are the preferred training provider for many.

Rich -

Business Support Consultant

Richard spent several years in the Travel, Tourism and Distribution Industry where he occupied numerous roles including Management and in numerous retail outlets. Prior to this, Richard spent time working overseas in tourist destinations as a Customer Experience Ambassador. Richard is also a keen musician and is a fully qualified music teacher who loves empowering the minds of others. During Richard's time in Travel, he co-led a team of experts and nurtured them to be the best they could be in terms of performance, attrition and delivering the best possible customer experience. Richard led staff CPD in order to upskill individuals on bespoke data-management systems and executed deliverables. This combined with an outgoing and confident approach to customer relations will aid the transition into Alex Elliot Consultancy.



Tommie - 

Digital Marketing Executive 


Tommie is the Digital Marketing Executive Apprentice for the GNR Group of Companies. He creates, manages, and fulfils all the social media content and marketing material you see under the GNR umbrella. During his development prior to joining the GNR family Tommie has undertaken various forms of education, training and completed CPD in a plethora of fields enhancing his overall ability and standing. 

Tommie has worked in a variety of positions which include managerial and supervisory roles predominantly in a Health and Social Care environment. Whilst working in this sector, Tommie completed coveted Medication Competency training allowing him to administer and order medications to and for vulnerable individuals. 

Tommie has both the technological skill and passion to succeed in this role at GNR Training.
